Summary: | Tomatoes are a commodity whose production is always increased in Indonesia from year to year due to the increasing value of demand, per capita consumption, and business opportunities. Especially the production that has not been able to fulfill the consumption figure of the domestic community. Increased production is carried out by paying attention to the selection of varieties and providing additional fertilizers. The application of inorganic fertilizers which is popular today is known to be able to leave residues that have a negative impact on ecosystem quality and product safety. Organic fertilizers can be an alternative to build sustainable agriculture. Currently, many fertilizer products are packaged, so that it is more practical to use, one of which is the Generative PSBN liquid organic fertilizer. Its liquid form can accelerate the absorption process and has the ability to improve the quality of plant growth and development because it contains macro, micro, growth hormone, and organic acids. Other than that, it takes the right concentration to get maximum results. This research aims to obtain the best concentration of Generative PSBN liquid organic fertilizer on the growth and yield of tomato plant (L. esculentum Mill.) Hybrid Servo variety. The research design was prepared based on RAK (Completely Randomized Design) with Generative POC concentration treatment consisting of four levels, namely control or without the provision of fertilizer (K0), POC 2,5 mL/L (K1), 5 mL/L (K2), and 7,5 mL/L (K3), so that four treatments were obtained with six repetitions. The results showed that the difference in concentration of Generative PSBN liquid organic fertilizer only had a significant effect on the shoot dry weight variable, root dry weight variable, and shoot-root ratio variable. Treatment of K3 (7,5 mL/L) was able to produce shoot dry weight and root dry weight higher than other treatments, and K2 treatment (5 mL/L) was able to produce fruit length, fruit diameter, and thick flash of fruit higher than other treatments. |
