This final project aims to design a foundation system that could bear the structural load of main building and also to design a retaining wall system which can retain the lateral load affected by soil around the basement excavation. Secant Pile wall design is targeted to retain the basement excavation with a total depth of 8,5 metres. The process of analyzing will be supported by the help of PLAXIS 2D modelling as a constructive stage method. The thickness of the secant pile wall is 0,9 metres with a total length of 19 metres. Wall support system that will be used is a pair of ground anchor in which the first one to be on the dept 0f 1,5 metres and the second one to be on the depth of 6 metres with specified prestress force. Final output of this design process will be presented in a form of a detailed design document and also a detailed drawing. text |
