Sadawarna Dam is located in Sadawarna Village, Cibogo District, Subang Regency, West Java with a water catchment area of 347 km2 which covers the administrative areas of Sumedang Regency, Bandung Regency and Subang Regency. Sadawarna Reservoir is planned to meet the needs of raw water and irrigation areas covering 3000 hectares in Subang and Indramayu and flood control. Sadawarna Reservoir has a storage volume of 6.90 million m3 at the minimum operation level (MOL), 39.88 million m3 at the normal water level (MAN), and 71.58 million m3 at the flood water level (MAB). The dam body is planned to be of an upright zonal core type with a height of 36 m and a peak width of 11 m and an axle length of 972 m. The design rainfall was analyzed using Log Pearson III distribution method. The probable maximum flood (PMF) of 3964.94 m3/s was obtained from the HSS ITB-2 method. The sedimentation rate was calculated using the USLE, SDR, and Brune Trap efficiency methods. The planned budget for the dam body is Rp. 516,935,397,732.96.
