The sea level rise and land subsidence cause tidal flood in Semarang and expanded every year. Every year the coastline of Semarang is increasingly eroded due to the waves. These two problems have a negative impact for society. For solving the problems, structural protection is needed. This study plans a sea wall to prevent tidal flood and protect abrasion. The design of sea wall is based on the Shore Protection Manual and PUPR regulations of 2015 about “Perencanaan jeti tipe rubble mound untuk penanggulangan penutupan muara sungai oleh sedimen” and considering the existing conditions. Bathymmetry, topography, soil conditions, velocity, tides, and wind are data needed. Wind will be analyzed and giving wave analysis as the result. The result of data analysis were used for the breakwater design. Wave and sea wall are modeled using DELFT3D to investigate the study area’s conditions. The expected final result will be a breakwater design that can reduce the desdructive impact of waves so tidal flood and abrasion can be solved. text
