Summary: | UD X is a medium-sized business that was founded in 2017 and acts as a rice
grinder in the rice industry. Recent years (2019-2020), there was a decline in sales
turnover. It caused by many risks that haven’t been managed properly, such as
obstacles during delivery, poor analysis of prospective buyers that lead to fraud.
Not to mention the incident caused by the COVID-19 pandemic during 2020 which
caused PSBB and the emergence of problematic ‘bansos’ or social support.
Therefore, the aim of this research is to manage risk based on stakeholders in order
to create a more stable and increased fulfillment of market demand for UD X.
This research consisted of four stages. The first stage contains an introduction of
research including observation and determination of problem formulation,
objectives, limitations, and assumptions of this research. The second stage consists
of studying the models and designing the research methodology. The third stage
consists of collecting and processing data starting from mapping the business
model to designing risk response strategies. The last stage contains analysis of
research results and closings.
Collecting data through in-depth interviews and questionnaires from 3?4
participants. Risk identification based on business process generates 51 risks from
9 stakeholders which will be assessed through questionnaires. In general, the
results of the assessment indicate that risks which hinder the achievement of
financial stability objective are prioritized due to their Risk Significance (RS),
regardless of their weight of strategic objectives. Then 26 risk response strategis
are designed which have been both grouped and calculated their weight of strategic
objectives. The results of response strategies are in form of various database
templates, regulations regarding shipping and pricing, a list of competitors,
description of both product and service attributes, proposal for drying process and
recording by using latest technology.
