This project located in Cibadak, Bandung, with soft soil condition and high seismic acceleration, so the building is classified as D in seismic design category. This project consist of 2-story basement as a parking area, 4-story podium as a mall, and 3 separated towers, such as Tower I, Tower II, and Tower III as an apartment with 7-story, 5-story, and 3- story respectively. This structure is modeled using ETABS and designed based on SNI 1726:2019 with ASCE 7-16 as additional reference for earthquake-resistant structures, SNI 1727:2013 with ASCE 7-16 as additional reference for minimum design loads for buildings, and SNI 2847:2019 with ACI 318-14 as additional reference for reinforced concrete building design. Structure is designed with two-stage analysis procedure, where structure is divided into 2, namely more flexible upper portion with special moment frames (SMF) as the seismic force-resisting system and more rigid lower portion with special moment frames (SMF) enclosed by 800 mm-thick diaphragm wall for the basement wall as the seismic force-resisting system. This building is designed with hybrid construction method, that combines precast and cast in place concept. Column is designed precast with strong connection, slab is designed precast half slab with composite cast-in-place topping, and beam is designed cast in place with strong connection to column. The results of this design are structural analysis and earthquake-resistant structural element design consist of structural system designated as part of the seismic-force-resisting system and members not designated as part of the seismic-force-resisting system. text |
