| Summary: | Kuala Samboja Port is a basic infrastucture which is designed to accomodate cargo traffic from hinterland area to destination area and vice versa. This infrastructure located in Semboja Sub-district, Kutai Kartanegara District, Kalimantan Timur Province with a multipurpose jetty which accomodate general cargo comodity, dry bulk comodity, and liquid bulk comodity. Each demand of the comodity is projected to be the basic value in designing facilities in Kuala Samboja Port. The facilites consist of offshore facility and onshore facility. Offshore facility consists of the length and width of jetty and also the length and width of trestle. Onshore facility consists of of general cargo terminal, dry bulk terminal, liquid bulk terminal, and truck buffer area. Components of general cargo terminal which are designed are warehouse, apron space, and truck parking area. Components of dry bulk terminal which are designed area stockpile area and gates that equipped with truck scale. Components of liquid bulk terminal which are designed are area for tanks, area for liquid loading, and area for liquid unloading. Component of truck buffer area which is designed is truck parking area for packing.
