Development in Cisokan River Basin need quality infrastructure support, including water availability. Cisokan River Basin is one of Citarum River Basin in West Java Province. Cisokan River has a potent to use to fulfill raw water for Cisokan River Basin. To cover water demand with enough water supply, it can be managed with water allocation.
Water availability is calculated by National Rural Electrical Cooperation Agency (NRECA) run off rain fall model using monthly rain fall and monthly evapotranspiration data because monthly discharge data is not complete enough. For water allocation analysis in Cisokan River Basin, the application is to develop water allocation optimally with Linear Programming Method (LP) and to distribute to service area which consider field condition. One of water allocation models is Water Resources Management Model (WRMM). The WRMM was developed by Alberta Environment in Canada. It is a large computer model, developed as a planning tool for water resources utilization, with a river basin being the fundamental unit of study. Water allocation priorities are defined by a penalty point system and an LP technique is used to minimize the over all penalty.
There are two alternatives of priorities for water allocation in Cisokan River Basin. The first is giving same service for all demands and the second is according to water resources regulation, which is raw water for water supply and existing irrigation are the first priority for water allocation.
Analyze about water allocation impact according to two alternatives of priorities will be done after optimal solution reached. The chosen priority can be recommended for the best water allocation application. According to WRMM result, the chosen priority for water allocation in Cisokan River Basin is giving service according to water resources regulation. text
