<b>ABSTRACT::<p align="justify"> <br /> <br /> Department of Civil Engineering Bandung Institute of Technology <br /> Erosion was defined as the decline of shoreline to landside direction from its original position. Erosion was occurred by littoral sediment transport along shoreline in which sediment moves from one place to another place. Littoral sediment transport is occurred if waves form an angle to normal line of shoreline.<p align="justify"> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> In Pasir Padi Beach shoreline, the sediment littoral occurring is 72.046,78 m3/year, lead to the decline of the shoreline. So far, the eroded areas comprise settlement and tourism area. The sediment moves from south to north direction. <br /> <br /> So far, the problem of erosion have been protect by constructing seawall. The revetment was laying about 500 meters long. However, both part of the protected and unprotected shoreline is still eroded.<p align="justify"> <br /> <br /> <br /> Through the study, shoreline change due to the erosion and its handling concept had been analyzed by Genesis programming, which yields the suggestion activities as follows: constructing revetment and groin series in eroded areas beside the existing revetment in Pasir Padi Beach, and the erosion can be protected.
