Description
Summary:In the era of information systems, the use of technology is inevitable for many areas of public service. One of the challenges implementing technology into the public services like Indonesian National Police is to match information system standard with the regulation. This thesis investigates the risk of information systems and proposes a risk assesment process for auditing the risk of information systems in public services, especially in the Divpropam Indonesian National Police, whereas the position of information systems is only to support business processes at the National Police institution. This research not only focuses on aspects of information systems technology but also includes aspects of human resources (people), job descriptions, procedures and organizational structure. From previous research, it was obtained risk mapping at three different levels, namely the strategic level, operational level, and technical level. With these findings, it is hoped that the risk assessment carried out can answer the needs of the National Police institution, especially Divpropam, in designing an information system that is in accordance with SI standards and in accordance with existing regulations.
