Therefore PBB's services office try to maintain database actively intended to update database which have been formed by the change of tax object and subject data. To support this activity, identifying the object changed (especially building object) is needed to reach the optimal result in terms of planning and work effectivity. Using of remote sensing technology by PBB is expected to support performance in management of taxation duty. One of product in high resolution satellite image owned is Quickbird image. This research intended to study wether Quickbird image able to be used to identify the change of building object as input for PBB data object updating and how this method can be implemented. <p align="justify"> <br /> The method was identifying building changes on the overlay result between PBB digital map and Quickbird image which have been corrected geomatrically with the visual interpretation on structured urban area and unstructured dense urban area. The results of interpretation concerning building changes is therefore put into closeness test of interpretation using Short rule (confussion matrix). The findings shown that this identification method is applicable to structured urban area at interpretation accuracy 90,83 % and type of change in new buildings and absence figure buildings at accuracy 88,89 % and 100 %, respectively. <br /> text
