Summary: | SARS-CoV-2 become a particular reason for improving protection to healthcare
workers. Those procedures requires protection not only from COVID-19
transmission, but also many infectious disease probability. Percutaneous
Nephrolithotomy (PCNL) are several procedures which contain transmission risks
that become an obstacle in the procedures. Contacts between healthcare workers
and patients during the procedures involving interstitial fluids from patients such
as blood and urinary fluids that can be very infectious if the fluids contaminated to
healthcare workers’ body through the water after entering the patient’s kidney.
Protection equipment which used during procedures should be designed for
enhancing prevention from many infectious fluids.
