Conditions that occur in the field can be approached and studied using laboratory scale testing, that are numerical modeling and physical modeling. In a supported tunnel, physical modeling can be carried out by modifying the biaxial test. The biaxial test is generally carried out by applying biaxial pressure in the direction of the x-axis and y-axis from outside the sample. The modification made in this study is that the sample is pressurized not only from outside the sample but also from inside the sample to interpret the conditions of the supported tunnel. The displacement value obtained from the modification of the biaxial test can be used to perform back analysis of the input data in numerical modeling. Further analysis was carried out using the GRC-LDP-SRC curve approach and it was concluded that the biaxial test modification can be used to model and study the conditions of a supported tunnel. text
