Summary: | Background and Objective: Video games or more popularly known as eSports have grown into a very large industry and are starting to be considered as an alternative sport in several countries. This industry is starting to be of interest to Indonesian businessmen to the world. Many business people have switched and started to pursue this industry because they realize that eSports will be a very promising industry from a business aspect. But in terms of sports and health, eSports is considered to have a bad impact on health. The purpose of this study was to describe the anthropometric profile and fitness program applied to eSports athletes as part of mapping the potential and ecosystem of eSports in Indonesia. Methods: This study used a quantitative descriptive method, using three instruments; Harvard Step Test & IPAQ Questionnaire to find out the profile of eSports athletes, interviews and collect data through the web of science as secondary data. The data collected will be processed using the data normality test method using the Kolmogorov Smirnov test with a significance level of 0.05%. Results: The level of physical fitness of the IeSPA eSports athletes is known that 11 eSports athletes have the results of the Harvard step test in the poor condition category with a percentage of 91.66%, 1 eSports athlete has the results of the Harvard step test in the low average category with a percentage of 8.33% and no. There are eSports athletes who have Harvard step test results in the high average, good and excellent categories. Conclusions: the low fitness level of eSports athletes is confirmed by physical trainers, expert doctors and psychologists who treat Indonesian eSports athletes. The physical condition of athletes will have an effect on performance before, during and after a match and have a negative impact on the Indonesian eSports ecosystem.
