Description
Summary:PDAM Tirta Merapi Klaten is a company that engaged in drinking water services. The provision of drinking water is one of basic needs and socio-economic rights of the community that must be fulfilled by government, both Regional Government and Central Government. The availability of drinking water is one of the determinants of improving the welfare of the community, which is expected that the availability of drinking water can increase the health status of the community, and can encourage an increase in community productivity, so that an increase in community economic growth can occur. Therefore, the provision of drinking water facilities and infrastructure is one of the keys to regional economic development. As one of the sub-districts in Klaten Regency area which passed by a regional route connecting Solo and Yogyakarta, Delanggu has a great potential for regional economic development. Therefore, the provision of drinking water can indirectly improve welfare. The drinking water supply system in Delanggu District is in form of District Capital (IKK) where the service area is only in Delanggu District. IKK Delanggu is currently operating with an average production capacity in 2019 of 21.17 L / s. Meanwhile, the existing raw water capacity used to serve the IKK is 34 L / s, with 2 (two) springs (MA) being used, namely MA Wangen with a capacity of 14 L / s and MA Nila of 20 L / s. PDAM Tirta Merapi Klaten in its RISPAM plans to increase the percentage of services, which in 2019 the percentage of services is 49.26%, will be increased to 56.51% in 2024 and then increased again to 80% in 2034. idle capacity from MA Wangen. Recommendations put forward in order to solve the above problems are to review the existing system and then make additions in the form of networks in the existing service areas and new service areas that have the potential to develop the area.
