The study conducted is to identify people who have the ability to fire history in fire mitigation is 9th RW, RW 16 and RW 20 Sub Taman Sari. In this study data analysis is the analysis of qualitative and quantitative data. Quantitative analysis method used to measure the ability of communities to fire mitigation. While the sampling technique used is stratified random sample proportionally (stratified random sampling), the samples taken have determined the specific characteristics, the Patriarch by RW because, it is assumed that each head of a family is considered to have the ability to overcome obstacles in his family, relation to study this is the ability to fire mitigation. Based on these results it can be concluded in general that the areas have a case of fires (fire history) has the potential to increase the ability of communities in disaster mitigation of fire, seen from the observation of the behavior of the caring society against the risk of fire disaster that may occur in the region , proving that there is some potential that can be developed that is the community of people who have the initiative in the provision of household that can be used as a local fire suppression, and the presence of community initiatives in disseminating disaster preparedness program through circulars and training as well as the capital main that is still the potential for inter-caring citizens, in case of problems, making it easier to solving social problems in society.
