Buckley-Leverett-Welge and Caudle-Witte are some of those theories. The purpose of this study is to estimate the recovery factor using simulation and empirical equation of waterflood. 1D, 2D, and 3D models are used to simulate fraction of displacement and sweep efficiency. We use Buckley-Leverett-Welge, Caudle-Witte, Craig et al to calculate the displacement and areal sweep efficiency. Difference between simulation result and empirical equation result is evaluated. Simulation result shows that recovery factor of combination 2D and 1D model is nearly equal with 3D simulation which is 36.3% and 36,8%. Buckley-Leverett-Welge method shows displacement efficiency 1% less than 1D simulation which is 74% dan 75.09%. It happens because of the sampling time difference. Areal sweep efficiency from Caudle-Witte method shows 1.1% difference than 2D model simulation.. Craig et al correlation shows rhe result 0.3% lower than 2D simulation result. The result of this study is considered good. The difference of the result is because the graphic accuracy is limited. text
