Obtained value of the carrying capacity of the city, the benefits of the sector in the city's economic growth, land use conversion, and spatial allocation of WIUP in urban areas. By considering wide and expiry date of the mining permit also the main function and carrying capacity of the city, the spatial allocation for mining coal in Samarinda is 25.893,98 ha or 36% of Samarinda territory. To solve the problem of the land allocation, the government should adjust mining activity to spatial strategy by considering mining open land, post minig plan and regional land use plan. text
