Indonesia consist of many island that still need development. Joko Widodo’s government have high priority on this issue and make Nawa Cita Program. PT. Maju Jaya as one of biggest construction company is very optimistic that with an in-depth understanding of Indonesia’s enourmous potential, and will be able to open opportunities to continue to become the leading integrated construction services provider in Indonesia and achieve the goal of excelling in the international market. Competition in oil and gas sectors is growing caused by attractiveness this sector. Several local EPC contractors come from engineering, consultation, construction or one of EPC company. Foreign company also opens their branch in Indonesia. Before PT. Maju Jaya is pioneer as SOE company in construction core business that expand business portofolio in EPC sector. But recently almost SOEs Company expand their business to EPC as well.The company should be able to respond to these challenges. To identify problems that faced by PT. Maju Jaya, one of financial indicator based on sales order is used. Sales order from 2018 to 2019 decreased from 4.144.785.000.000 to 1.874.321.000.000. In 2019, there are many prospective project have missed out by EPC from SOE company. The objectives of this research is to formulate business strategy refers to strategic management theories for PT. Maju Jaya Business unit. This research will used to formulate the right strategy is analyzing external and internal business condition using PESTLE Analysis, SWOT, IE Matrix, The Grand strategy Matrix and QSCM matrix. This research is discovering the ideal strategy for PT. Maju Jaya to achieve growth is market penetration to increase market share in existing market oil & Gas, mining, industrial and petrochemical. This can be accomplished with the strategy: lowering price through VA/VE, operational efficiency with digitalization, revamping digital marketing roadmap to increase brand awareness and strategic alliances, business synergy with PT. Maju Jaya group (holding) In conclusion, this research reveal digitalization especially implementation of ERP should be applied by PT. Maju Jaya for financial data integration, standardization operating process and standardization data and information. The goal of using ERP not only for acceleration and effectiveness of the process of presenting report and information but also for improvement information accuracy through system integration and Optimize efficiency potential. text
