Summary:‘X’ field is a field owned by one of oil and gas company in Indonesia. In ‘X’ field has been builded new pipeline network to transport oil production from TM gathering station to TA gathering station. One of problems that need to be anticipated related to development plan of pipeline network is a potential problem coused by wax deposition because production oil in ‘X’ field have high pour point and wax appearance temperature (WAT). Therefore it is necessary for evaluated possibility of wax deposition and to prevent it. Objective of this research are to evaluated possibility of wax deposition and design optimum fluid temperature on source to mitigation of wax deposition with heating method. Evaluation result is formed wax deposition in pipeline network on ‘X’ field, with wax deposition thickness 0.2129 mm. And then, optimum fluid temperature in source for wax deposition mitigation with heating method is 1870F.
