Lutetium isotope abundance in nature in stable isotope form 175 Lu (97,41%) and radioisotope 176 Lu (2,59%) with t1/2= 3,78 x 1010 years. Radionuclide 177 Lu has t 1/2 ?????¸¬???¸±®¬???±?ð??ð?ã ??¬?? ?ð?í ±?±?ã????ÿ± ¬?¸ ??¬???ð?í ±?±?ã????????ÿ±?¸±®¬?ð?ã ¬?¸ ??¬?± ð??í± »????» 177 Hf. This study aims to labelled the H2salophen ligand with 177 Lu radioisotope. The H2salophen ligand labeling reaction with 177 Lu was also studied in silico to assess the reactivity of LuCl3 to the H2salophen ligand, the stability of the formed Lu-salophen complex and the ligand exchange reaction as well as the characterization of UV and IR spectral ligands of H2salophen and its complexes. The reaction of H2salophen ligand labeling with 177 Lu is carried out in acetone solvent, acetone-water (1:1), methanol and acetone & water-free methanol during labeling. Labeling is optimized at various temperatures, pH, time and number of moles of reactants. The radiochemical characterization used TLC with ITLC- SG as a stationary phase and 0.9% NaCl solution as eluent and addition of a 0,005 M Na2EDTA solution as chelating agent separating Lu3+ from the Lu-Salophen complex. Radioactivity counts were measured using a gamma counter. In silico labeling studies, optimization of molecular geometry is conducted on the DFT/B3LYP theory level in the gas phase. UV spectrum prediction is done by TD-DFT/B3LYP method. H2salophen ligand labeling with 177 Lu radioisotope was successfully performed in acetone solvent, pH 7, temperature 65 o C and incubation for 1 hour with yield of 64,29%. Studies in silico show that H2salophen ligand can react with 177 Lu and form a stable compound complex. The addition of Na2EDTA can shift the H2salophen ligand from the established Lu-Salophen complex. UV spectrum absorption shows that H2salophen ligand undergoes a batochromic shift after forming a complex with 177 Lu. The absorption of the IR spectra shows that there is absorption of Lu-O and Lu-N in the fingerprint region. text |
