Description
Summary:Based on loss data obtained from the JakSafe website for the period January 2016 s.d. February 2018, the magnitude of flood losses varied greatly with the lowest loss for a flood event was around 188 million Rupiah, while the highest was around 670 billion Rupiah. The amount of loss is very diverse and certainly affect the flood mitigation strategy, especially in DKI Jakarta. In this final project, the aggregate loss model is used to model the loss of flood events. Unfortunately, due to limited data on flood losses, it is necessary to modify the aggregate loss model using rainfall. This modification will make the loss model more realistic with the loss in a month will depend on the value of the rainfall. Then, it should also be noted that the total loss of a flood event is the accumulation of losses from several sectors. The loss for each sector has a changing percentage for each flood event. One approach that can be taken to solve this problem is to use vector autoregression. As the final result, the total reserve value will be obtained along with the details of reserves for each sector for the next year.
