Improper usage of drugs could result to failure of medication. This is because of the minimum understanding of the society regarding drug information. Because of that the society’s understanding regarding drug information must be improved. However, there are many problems in giving drug information, for example the language used to deliver the information. Sometimes the language used is too scientific or not objective so it confuses the users. To solve this, an innovation in giving drug information is needed to make it objective and understandable by the users. According to the result of the preliminary study, the drug used the most by ITB Faculty/Schoool employees were paracetamol and its combinations. This drug could be used without doctor’s precription because it is an OTC (Over the Counter) drug. However, its free usage could create concerns since there is a big risk to abuse. So, a drug information about paracetamol is needed to reduce that. This study is conducted observationally concurent with evaluative description to the employees of 12 Faculty/School of Institut Teknologi Bandung. From this study, 62 employees attended until the end. There were increases in subject understanding parameters, which is: “Cara Kerja Obat”, “Indikasi”, “Dosis dan Aturan Pakai”, “Interaksi Obat”, “Kontraindikasi”, and “Penyimpanan”although the significant increase was only observed in the parameter “Cara Kerja Obat”. Based on this study it could be seen that the addition of illustration could increase the users understanding of drug information.
