But electric bus still rarely used because it difficult to control and cause a lot of power loss. Therefore, this research will simulate the use of controller called PID and Fuzzy Logic so it can control electric motor on an electric bus and can saved a lot of power. The test for electric motor in this research will use a method called hardware in the loop simulation or HILS. HILS will replace the true electric motor to smaller electric motor but can be represent the respond of true electric motor. In this case, bus electric motor will be replaced to three phase AC electric motor with maximum voltage is 220V. The dynamic bus will be simulated in computation simulation in a hardware called Raspberry Pi. PID controller will be set as main controller so the output can be same as the reference input. Additional Fuzzy Logic controller will smoothing and compensate the load changes (passanger and road change). Simulation will be set with three assumptions (no passenger, half passenger, and maximum passenger) that will be test on change the speed reference test and change the condition of the road test. The result of the test is that the root mean squere error (RMSE) is better within 3-24% and the power is saver within 0.2-4.3% Keywords: Electric bus, HILS, PID and Fuzzy Logic Controller ? text
