Educational institutions are not only limited to formal institutions such as schools and universities, but there are also many other institutions such as tutoring company as part of educational institutions that provide an additional education outside the school. The educational institutions also have to measure their performance and success rate because the company also run professionally like most other business ventures. This applies to both formal and Non-formal educational institutions in society. So, not only as an educational institution but also as a profitable business. Just like other business ventures, the success of educational institutions also has to be measured using indicators such as student success rates to achieve desired targets and increase customer trust, also to be able to emerge and develop in the market. PT KMI is a company registered as a tutoring company with the percentage of the student success rate of UKMPPD participants at PT KMI currently reaching 82%, this value is higher enough. However, if compared to the student success rate of the competitors, it is still low because some of its competitors can have a student success rate of up to 90%. To be able to improve the student success rate for PT KMI, it is necessary to make improvements for several factors that can affect the student success rate of participants. But based on the survey only two factors which has strong influence and controllable by PT KMI, there are teacher and academic. This research was conducted by analyzing the current business situation of PT KMI internally and externally through the SWOT analysis method. Then use the three stages of making a comprehensive strategy decision formulation which start with the input stage using IFE and EFE analysis, then the matching stages using the TOWS Matrix analysis, and last the decision stages using QSPM Matrix analysis, then followed by linear regression method. The data was obtained through historical data from PT KMI, interviews with PT KMI management, observations, official websites, e-books, and journals. The research resulted two strategies there are the outstanding standard for teacher or tutor requirement and strengthen the assessment during the training period. These two strategies are processed and concretized with the improvement of the recruitment and training processes by creating a recruitment program, for the requirements and training assessment process in PT KMI, namely "Future Learning Partner Program” as teacher or tutor retention strategy, which means to improve the quality of teacher or tutor in PT KMI, to attain competitive advantage, and to attract the attention of the most talented teachers or tutors to join and become part of the future PT KMI, either in manifest the company’s vision and mission, also to gain the customer's trust. text |
