Summary: | In the case of COVID 19 outbreak, many of organization are exposed to its flaws. Although it might seem like a disaster, in the long run an exposure of flaws caused by the pandemic can be an irreplaceable opportunity to develop further study on how to create a more adaptable and flexible organizations to tackle unpredictable challenges in the future and not only to specifically swift through a pandemic, but a similar level of event that causes massive shift in economy. This study focuses on the evaluation and improvement ideas of organization agility for PT. Biotech Indonesia to adapt to uncertainty during the COVID-19 pandemic in Indonesia. This research combines both the qualitative and quantitative methodology taken from both the primary and secondary data. The primary data collected by doing surveys to the company and collecting questionnaires from the employees. The secondary data taken from company profile and literature reviews. External analysis will use Porter's 5 force and PESTEL model and the internal analysis will use 7S McKinsey tools. The evaluation of organization agility conducted by using questionnaires to all the employees of PT. Biotech Indonesia, covering the strategy, structure, process, people and technology in the organization. The research resulted in eight proposed improvement ideas for the organization. Including Creating Shared Value (CSV) in the organization; Creating a culture of participation by employees at all levels; Creating a collaborative governance and active partnership ecosystem; Embrace the culture for rapid iteration; Creating standardized ways of working; Adjusting performance management based on the outcome; Organization Development and Knowledge Management System, and Developing IT infrastructure, supporting systems and tools. |
