</i><b>Abstract: </b><i><p align=\"justify\"> The monetary crisis that occurred in the mid-of 1997 in Indonesia had made difficulties of our national economic developments, especially to the survival of business world. The biggest impact of this monetary crisis is the ability of the firm to meet its obligation to pay to the creditors is descrising.<p align=\"justify\"> The similar difficulties are also experiences by PT. X, which was since 1998 began to have financial difficulties due to the decreasing of level of sale and the ultimate burden of debt. During the last five years, the firm have had a great loss and failed to repay the scheduled debts. Some effort to save the firm had been executed through credit restructure and repayment of rarer debt, in form of interest and loans.<p align=\"justify\"> This research is carried out to find out the financial condition of the firm, the financial recovery program that has been undertaken and the business prospect for the future, so that it could be found out whether the firm can be continued again or must be terminated.<p align=\"justify\"> By using financial statement in 1998 to 2001, showing the result that the level of financial health of PT. X is considered into the criterion of \"Unhealthy\" and having the indicator of bankruptcy.<p align=\"justify\"> Meanwhile, the execution of the credit restruction is unable to improve the healthiness level of the firm. The business prospect of the future is also still unable to take out the firm form financial problem faced.<p align=\"justify\"> Based on the results of the above mentioned above, so the liquidation or the dissolution of the firm is the step that must be taken in order to avoid a greater loss.
