Summary:Founded on 4 April 1988, PT Aplikanusa Lintasarta is committed as a full serviceprovider of data communications, internet, and IT Services. In 2018, Lintasarta established a new main service group which is called Industry Solution with the purpose to create innovative ICT solutions for various business industries. Unfortunately, Industry Solution currently is taking too much time to create innovation. For example, The Department of Government and Education of Industry Solution created an innovation product, but before the product can be launched, the competitor has already launched similar product which is Traveloka Xperience. This research objective is to do an analysis to find out what caused the slow innovation process and then propose strategies to make it faster. The research will do internal analysis using Agile and Scrum frameworks to find out the problems that slow down the solution creation process in the organization, Agile and Scrum are methodologies that are specifically intended to address problems including missed deadlines. External analysis which is benchmarking analysis to companies that has successfully implement Agile is also conducted, which are BTPN, Bank Permata, and Home Credit. Using a qualitative research methodology, 6 depth interviews were conducted examining insight from the company, and 1 depth interview the insight from outside the company. In strengthening the research finding’s validity and reliability, the triangulation process was used for convergence among multiple sources of information to form themes or categories in a study. The result suggest that the cause of the slow innovation process is a misapplication of Agile methodology. Further, miscommunication appears to contribute to the misapplication of Agile.
