This virus quickly spread throughout the world including Indonesia. Then WHO declared the COVID-19 crisis a pandemic on 11 March 2020. Indonesian government implemented various strategies for the control of the COVID-19 pandemic, the closure of schoolds, workplaces and public areas, the implementation of Social Distancing on a Large Scale (PSBB) and new normal era while practising strict health protocol. This study aims to analyze the spread of COVID-19 in 27 regencies/cities in West Java by looking at the number of effective reproduction numbers from March 2020 to June 2021.
