This is due to the increasing number of positive cases of COVID-19. The emergence of a bed queue is one example of a queuing system. The data used in the form of daily active COVID-19 cases. The method used in this research is Discrete Event Simulation (DES) using Rstudio software. The minimum number of vacant beds is obtained at the Cibeunying SWK hospital in January, February and March 2021. The rate of increase in positive cases of COVID-19 is Pareto distribution as an arrival pattern. While the recovery rate is exponentially distributed with the rate (1/28) as the pattern of departures and the number of servers as many empty beds. There were 34 empty beds that needed to be provided by the SWK Cibeunying hospital so that there were no cases of COVID-19 patients queuing for at least the next 150 days. Selected Central General Hospital Dr. Hasan Sadikin (RSHS) Bandung as a recommended hospital if the beds at the SWK Cibeunying hospital are full. Around 85-100% of positive COVID-19 patients from SWK Cibeunying have the opportunity to be served at RSHS. text |
