Summary: | Empowerment has becoming one of keywords for development policies in the last few decades, especially since early of 90's. In fact, individuals or groups in various parts of the world are harmed and suffered not only for their negligence or apathy, but also by entire of poor social solution that offered. Based on these conditions, inclusive development discourses come up as a breakthrough, where empowerment is one of the strategies. Literature has been debating on the various of institutional models on empowerment practice approach, there are: top-down, bottom-up, and collaboration. Instead of institutional models, this study has assumption which an empowerment practice is not based on the institutional model or the initiator, but a number of the change that occurred and how it can be occurs. Through a social learning perspective, this study attempts to explore the empowerment practice in case of managing malnourished problem for children under-five in Cisaranten Kidul, Bandung, by analyzing the social change from a number of translations in relation. |
