Description
Summary:Habitable zone (HZ) is an area in the Solar System or other star system, which surrounds the parent star and allows the presence of liquid water. For a planet orbiting its parent star to have a habitable zone, it must be at the right distance. When a star evolves, the habitable zone will also evolve. This evolution is influenced by several parameters, including mass and metallicity. This research uses low mass main sequence stars (? 2 M?) of spectrum class F, G, K, because they have a lifespan of up to 10 billion years, sufficient time for life to develop in their planetary system. In this final project, the evolution process of low mass main sequence star class F, G, K, with various levels of mass and metallicity is carried out using the MESA WEB star evolution program to obtain the required data related to the analysis of the effect of mass and metallicity of stars on the habitable zone of stars
