Summary: | Covid-19 is an ongoing pandemic in many countries including Indonesia, which is
spreading so fast and there have been many victims. To overcome this, the
government has implemented PSBB and health protocols. PSBB is carried out by
limiting community activities that involve large numbers of people to reduce
transmission of the virus. If this condition continues for a long time, many sectors
in Indonesia will be increasingly affected, especially health care, economy and
social. The public must actively participate in supporting the government's efforts
by implementing health protocols properly, especially in public places which are
the locus of the spread of Covid-19. Some points of the health protocol that must be
done are wearing mask properly, maintaining physical distancing, and carrying out
body temperature checks at the entrance of public places, specifically for the
managers of the public places.
The proposed solution to help implementing the health protocol more effectively is
a prototype of AI camera that detects face mask and body temperature non-contact
through Web based user interface. This AI feature can do a real-time face mask
detection accurately and alert someone who is not wearing a mask properly with
alarm sound. Body temperature detection can be done without physical contact with
the help of MLX90614 DCI infrared thermometer sensor with additional feature,
which is distance detection, as an indicator for user who is too far from the sensor.
The two systems are deployed to Web using Flask and ThingSpeak server to
visualize the data. Based on the feature testing, the AI mask detection and noncontact body temperature detection features in the web can work well in real-time
and accurate. The result of user acceptance tests of this prototype using UTAUT
model shows that the web can be used easily by user |
