This development makes the level of human needs also increasing, especially in the electricity sector. The use of fossil fuels that damage the environment needs to be replaced with the use of renewable energy sources. Indonesia has enormous geothermal potential in the world. The type of geothermal power plant currently used in Indonesia is a single flash power plant that requires a reservoir temperature of more than 180?C to work efficiently. It is quite difficult and expensive to explore geothermal heat with a temperature large enough. For low geothermal temperatures, power plants can use a binary system which only requires temperatures around 100-170?C. Organic Rankine Cycle (ORC) is one of the main types of binary cycles using low-enthalpy geothermal energy. In this study, an analysis study of electrical power plant with the ORC system was conducted in Cisolok – Cisukarame geothermal site, West Java. The source used was CKR-D with a temperature of 130?C, a pressure of 66.6 bar, and a mass flow rate of 259.65 kg/s. The source of the organic working fluid used is R245fa. The results of this study indicate that the low-enthalpy ORC geothermal power plant system modeling design using a preheater and recuperator produces an output power of 2,560.661kW and an efficiency of 32,06%. The cost of generation using this system is IDR 1,172.00/kWh text |
