Green design and sustainable design are an integral part of which, to fulfil a sustainable design, several aspects are needed, such as sustainable materials. However, in sustainable design, it can also be a product or a design that promotes a campaign where the use of the product can make a social change in society. The time period or level of consumerism from humans is reduced. The development of watches made from environmentally friendly materials starts from wood as the material used. However, the wood itself is not the right material to use as a material. When viewed further, obtaining the trunks still cuts down trees so that there are problems that arise from the use of wood materials. Ceramic material is one of the choices in its use as a sustainable material. This can be seen through the level of resistance of ceramics which is almost eternal if the ceramic object is not damaged. The material used focuses on Soft porcelain material, which has characteristics that will be explored more deeply. Soft porcelain is a clay material formed from feldspar, kaolin, and bone ash. It has properties similar to porcelain but with a lower burning temperature. When processed using certain techniques, soft porcelain is expected to be an alternative to porcelain ceramics as soft porcelain requires less gas energy in combustion when compared to porcelain. Ceramics do have limitations; however, ceramics have other properties that can be utilized to design men's watches. The limitations of the properties of ceramics can be minimized by two methods, namely by designing the shape or modifying the material so that it is expected that bone china ceramic can be an alternative material that has sustainability compared to other materials. text
