Description
Summary:With the existence of a stereotype in society that western culture is far more superior than local culture, many local cultures, especially Sundanese culture, have begun to be abandoned by society, especially the young people. Therefore, promotional media is needed, one of which is a facility with a Sundanese folklore approach. This research used a mixed qualitative and quantitative research method, while the research data-sources based form literature reviews, comparative analysis, and interviews. This research generated a new facility named Balé Pitutur. A facility that translated from three Sundanese tales: Sakadang Kuya jeung Sakadang Monyét, Nini Antéh, and Ciungwanara. This new fresh approach hopes to make young people more familiar with the Sundanese culture.
