Description
Summary:A current control method for new simplified cascade multiphase DC-DC buck power converter is proposed in this study. A proportional-integral (PI) controller is used to regulate the output current of the proposed converter. The control scheme analysis is carried out by using small-signal model of the converter to form the output current transfer function that will be used later to obtain the control parameters (Kp, Ki, and Ti). Simulation and experimental results are included in this study to show the validity of the proposed concept.
