Pangandaran Village is famous as a marine coastal tourist attraction area in West Java. This makes community and tourist activities centered in coastal areas. The acceleration of infrastructure development in coastal areas is increasing to support facilities for tourists. The tourist area located on the southern coast of Java Island causes the area not to escape the danger of tsunamis that often occur due to subduction at the bottom of the Indian Ocean. For this reason, this Final Project was carried out to determine the level of exposure and the potential for tsunami natural disasters due to the earthquake that occurred. Based on existing tsunami inundation data, building data, land cover/use data obtained from orthophoto digitization of Pangandaran Village, data overlays were carried out to obtain a map of buildings and land cover affected by the tsunami. The results of this study showed that the tsunami inundation area in the first scenario was 91,684 ha, while in the second scenario it was 180,602 ha. As well as in this study, verification of tsunami inundation in the field was carried out, it was found that the tsunami inundation area generated was 331.592 ha. The buildings affected in the first scenario are 1040 buildings, while in scenario 2 there are 4856 buildings, then based on the results of the tsunami inundation verification there are 1507 buildings. And the affected land cover in the first scenario is 20.92%, while in the second scenario 73.81% land cover is affected, then based on the results of the tsunami inundation verification it is 46.08%. text |
