Summary: | Attitude is one of the most important aspects of life. Attitudes affect a person's daily actions. A good and right attitude can build character starting from youth, so that in the future they can become exemplary individuals. However, many late teens still have problems maintaining their attitude in the face of a victory. In this case, winning can lead to overconfidence and ultimately arrogance. For that we need a media that can provide insight to Indonesian youth, regarding proper attitude in the face of victory. This design is aimed primarily at Muslim youth. Currently, the media that is quite close, attracts attention, and is familiar with teenagers in general, including Islamic youth, is animation media. In this design, the animation will take the visual style of 2-dimensional cut-out animation. The 2-dimensional cut-out technique itself is simpler in terms of movement compared to frame animation in general which will eventually be more easily understood by the target audience. The solution designed for this problem is to create a work based on 2-dimensional animation media with a cut-out technique that tells about the Battle of Badr and the war of Uhud. The animation will cover the story of the struggle of the Muslims against the Quraysh in the battle of Badr and the effect that victory had on their attitude in the battle of Uhud. The story taken is finally used as a moral message to be conveyed to the target audience. The 2-dimensional animation design with the theme of Islamic history is expected to attract attention, be accepted, and understand more easily by Indonesian youth than other media such as textbooks or pictures, and also provide insight to the target audience about the history of Islam in the past. After making the design, several things can be concluded. The story of the victory of Muslim troops in the Battle of Badr and its influence on the Uhud war can provide a strong message about the attitude towards victory to the target audience. It can also be concluded that 2-dimensional cut-out animation can communicate information to the target audience more easily thanks to the visual and audio aspects to provide more context and also stronger for the message which to be conveyed. |
