Bandung City as one of the Metropolitan Cities in Indonesia has urgency in terms of development, one of which is building construction. Buildings are usually used to accommodate the needs of the community, so their safety and security must be guaranteed to protect their users. Function-worthy certificate (SLF) is a certificate issued by the local government for buildings that have met the functional-worthy requirements. In this research, it will discuss the implementation system and the challenges of implementing the Function-worthy Certificate (SLF) in the implementation of Buildings in the City of Bandung. In determining the formulation of the challenge, the factors that influence the implementation of SLF in Bandung are first determined. After obtaining these factors, then the existing analysis is carried out first on the implementation of SLF in the city of Bandung at this time, then the ideal requirements are formulated from best practices in other cities in Indonesia that have successfully implemented SLF, after that the last stage is to obtain challenges -challenges in the implementation of this SLF. These challenges are formulated by looking at how to overcome difficulties in existing conditions in achieving the existing ideal requirements. These challenges will later become an indication of aspects of implementation that are difficult to fulfill, so that future expectations can become recommendations for stakeholders or parties. - Stakeholders involved in the implementation of SLF in Bandung City.
