Fabric manipulation techniques create unique details and textures, and also affect the final shape and silhouette of the garment. In the world of fashion almost every form has been applied. However, in the fabric manipulation technique, there is still much that can be created, because textiles and fiber are still new inventions. In the exploration of making this Final Project, it is intended to explore fabric manipulation techniques inspired by the jellyfish Chrysaora Achlyos and then applied to fashion accessories such as neckpieces. The crysaora achylos jellyfish has characteristic wavy tentacles with large bells. The imitation of the tentacles characteristics of jellyfish can be used as inspiration for processing textile materials usingfabric manipulation techniques in the form of ruffles, pleats, boiled shibori and other exploratory techniques used for visual achievement of the Crysaora Achlyos jellyfish. The material to be used is a transparent material to get the transparent character of the jellyfish. The results of this exploration will be applied to fashion accessories in the form of a neckpiece.
