Summary:Alzheimer is one of the most common Dementia nowadays, it is a neurodegenerative disease characterized by signs of progressive and continuous loss of cognitive function and neurologic functions. This progression of degenerating neuron function may cause harm in daily activities making the sufferer be dependent on others on performing in their daily activities, the continuous of degenerating may even cause short-term and long-term memory loss (Robbins and Murphy, 2006). In Indonesia, Alzheimer is proven grown over the years, based on Alzheimer Indonesia, in 2013 there is 1 million cases going on in Indonesia, out of 20 million elders based on mass consensus in 2013. These numbers is expected to grow over the years, which is projected to be 4 million in 2050. Alzheimer is a progressive disease which attack the brain of its sufferer, on some advanced stage of Alzheimer, the sufferer tends to need the aid of others on performing daily activities due to their nurologic function is being degenerated to some certain level. Other side effects to the sufferer is social life of the sufferer where the sufferer being drawn back from society due the inability to perform normal and social activities, in contradiction of the facts, even till these days Alzheimer does not have any cure available, based on research by Dr. Wei-Wei Chen and colleagues from Xuzhou Central Hospital, it is proven that physical activities and social engagement helps on slowing down the progression of neuron degeneration to the extent of letting the sufferer performs daily activities on their own and demand low to nothing aid of others. These final research is conducted to create a nursing facility for Alzheimer sufferer to have an environment designated for their needs, where they are able to performtheir best physical abilities in extent to slow the neuron degenerative progression and act social activities with other sufferer to maintain their psychologic needs of social activities to improve their condition
