Description
Summary:The growth of population limits the land availability that can be used for residenctial or other purposes. To overcome this issue, utilization of space has been intensified, such as by constructing apartments. on the other hand, it is more difficult to register 3D objects a two-dimensional (2D) cadastre . 3D cadastre can be realized through the development of 3D digital building models that can be used to represent the object in question in official documents, such as digital land certificate. This final project was conducted with an objective to develop a 3D building model to meet the requirements on building registration by utilizing 3D Geographical Information System (3D GIS) technology and Building Information Modelling (BIM). The Industry Foundation Classes (IFC) model of BIM and CityGML 3D city model were utilized, which was integrated with cadastral database in accordance with the Land Administration Domain Model (LADM) standard to meet the needs of 3D digital registration documents. This study uses IfcSpace elements for the IFC data model and solid objects for CityGML data model as a representation of ownership legal boundaries. This study is expected to contribute to the application of 3D cadastre in Indonesia as a source of information containing cadastral data in registration document.
