Geographically indramayu regency is located at coordinates 107°52-108°36' East Longitude and 6°15'-6°40' South Latitude (BPS Indramayu Regency, 2018). The geographical location of Indramayu Regency is very strategic because the district is traversed by a national road (Pantura line) that stretches from the west (Patrol District) to the east (Krangkeng District). This route becomes part of the main route of transportation traffic in the northern part of Java island with lowland characteristics making a variety of diverse tourism potesi including marine tourism potential and cultural potential. However, in terms of tourism development, the Indramayu Regency Government experienced some difficulties related to promotion, accessibility and infrastructure. In this case, Biawak Island located in the north of the Inrdamayu peninsula about 40 kilo meters from the north coast of Indramayu is a marine conservation area of the main tourist attractions of the local community indramayu and its surroundings, problems that exist in Biawak Island such as the context of accessibility and accommodation. With the potential and problems thatexist, the idea arises for the development of Ecotourism Area indramayu Biawak Island that pays attention to the nature and environment. The development of tourist attractions and the availability of private-oriented lodging facilities is intended as one of the mainstays that can provide a longterm memory experience and be able to provide comfort for tourists.
