PREDICTION OF CO, SO2, NO2, PM10, AND PM2.5 DISPERSION FROM EMISSION SOURCES IN BOGOR CITY USING AERMOD

Bogor City is one of the crucial cities that hold an important role to even out population spread in Jakarta’s metropolitan area. INSTITUT TEKNOLOGI BANDUNG https://digilib.itb.ac.id/gdl/view/55702 Bogor City is one of the crucial cities that hold an important role to even out population spread in Jakarta’s metropolitan area. RPJMD (Rencana Pembangunan Jangka Menengah Daerah) that includes sustainable development pillar of environment was made to support this function. One of the indicators in RPJMD is to improve Bogor City’s air quality index, which is done by conducting air pollution management trough prediction of pollutant dispersion. This research focused on creating the prediction of CO, SO2, NO2, PM10, and PM2.5 air pollution dispersion, from transportation, residential, and industry emission activities. The models were generated using AERMOD software, which uses Gauss distribution principle. AERMOD processed 2017 emission data from Bogor City emission inventory, and 2019 meteorological data from Citeko Class III Meteorological Station. All five pollutants dispersion models in Bogor City reveal an acceptable air quality below standards in PP 22/2021, except for NO2 parameters that exceeded air quality standards. Based on this analysis, technical air pollution management action plan was proposed for every pollutant and emission activity in transportation, residential, and industry sector. General regulation proposal was also made for all three sectors, in addition to plans for urban air pollution monitoring improvement. text
