Losari Beach is a beach located west of Makassar City. Losari beach is one of the most frequently visited tourist objects by both local and foreign tourists in the city of Makassar. Losari beach continues to grow and has made significant progress so that it can become a tourist spot on an international scale. The development of facilities and infrastructure for Losari beach has not been maximized because of this. many things. One of the causes is the amount of pollution that occurs in the Losari Beach area. In this study the authors tried to design a Recycling Center as a place of recreation and education. The formulation of the problem discussed is how to design public facilities that can provide awareness of the importance of the surrounding environment, especially the impact of waste on life as well as a means of education and recreation for the surrounding community and for tourists. With this facility, it is hoped that it can build awareness of the surrounding community and visitors about the waste problem and provide an understanding so that they can use waste into new values.
