Summary: | Traditional water quality monitoring system in floating net cages tend to have
relatively long period for measuring water quality on-site due to the difficulty of
accessing floating net cage site in dam so IoT-based water quality monitoring
system are implemented to solve this case where the node devices will be deployed
on the site and interface can be accessed remotely using internet. Specifications are
defined that data must be presented in the form of graphs or tables and
communication range between node devices and the interface is at least 5 km.
Interface will display water quality measurement data in the form of graphs and
tables. This interface will be defined by two subsystem which is data storage
subsystem and interface subsystem. Data storage subsystem is implemented using
nonrelational database and stored in cloud database while interface subsystem is
implemented as website in cloud server. Interface subsystem will display several
information such as data from every parameter of water quality, location of node
devices on-site, and user information. To protect the system, cloud server and cloud
database can only be accessed through HTTP and SSH connection while for
interface are protected using token-based authentication. To verify the functionality
of the subsystem, testing is carried out by having the subsystem to do certain task
and assessed qualitatively. |
