However, this logistic system is still not efficient as there are some expenses that
can be reduced. Therefore, a system that can monitor the conditions of a logistic
company assets is needed in order to minimize expenses. Expenses that is needed
to minimize include maintenance cost of logistic vehicles and monitoring of
driver’s behavior. Connected Logistic Solution – Moving Asset Condition
Monitoring is a solution to monitor logistic vehicle remotely and analyze data
acquired to determine if maintenance is needed as well as the driver’s behavior
rating. The system consists of two parts: a hardware connected to each vehicle and
a server which stores and shows data to the user. Regarding the communication of
data from the hardware and the server. MQTT protocol is used and data is encrypted
using AES-128. In times of sending data from the hardware to the server is not
possible, a temporary storage is used to store data temporarily until the system is
able to send data. The hardware also needs power to operate and a mechanism to
ensure the system is able to work during removal of device from vehicle. |
