Description
Summary:SCRUM-based project management tool in the world of computer science has many benefits in its use. This tool can be used for shortening the steps that we need when carrying out the software development process. However, the design of this application focuses a lot on the technical side with high capabilities. Another side that is less noticed is the social side of the software development process. The social aspect is important in the development process that involves human resources. Gamification is a technique that is widely used to give a new sensation and dynamic inside the work environment in recent years. This technique is done by incorporating some elements from the game into another system. This fusion is expected to make the system feel more positive and attract the interest of its users. Project management applications with the SCRUM methodology can be further designed with an interactive design approach to motivate users. The result of this gamification process will be in the form of a high-fidelity prototype using Adobe XD. The results of this design will be evaluated further with the focus on user motivation through the IMI scale or Intrinsic Motivation Inventory. This scale is the basis for evaluating motivation inside a system that comes from the SelfDetermination Theory. The design will also be evaluated in terms of usability by using the Subject Usability Scale or SUS to measure user satisfaction. In addition, the design is also measured for ease of use by using the SEQ or Single Ease Question. The impact of interaction design with gamification in motivating users has a positive evaluation result. Furthermore, the use of interaction design with gamification is also considered to have a high level of ease and satisfy users.
