Description
Summary:The sculptural approach for writers is an important process for share ideas along with an understanding of the materials and techniques used. The realistic style is a visual reference raised in the work in this paper. This visual tendency arises by presenting the visualization of clothing into clay material that is then burned and become terracotta with the aim of presenting three stages, namely, something irregular (disorder), something order, and a process between the two. This visual language keyword is symbolized by the messy, hung, and neatly folded form of clothing. The approach of art as a symbol in this work is the main poin, this is related to the visual form of the work that is planned by the author to strengthen the symbolic aspect, and becomes an important part in presenting the narrative. When viewed as a whole, three important keywords will be formed, namely: messy, learning process, and orderly With this work, the author gains an understanding of the sensitivity of an artist in observing objects and then displaying them in the medium of clay and terracotta. The theory used as the basis is the theory of art as a symbol. This writing also explains the position of the author's work on the historical timeline of the history of art by considering the artist's reference and the work that is the reference in the process of creating the artwork by the author.
